JENNIFER Lawrence announced on September 8, 2021, that she is pregnant with her first child with husband Cooke Maroney.
After she made the announcement, many fans began to wonder who Jen's man is and what he does for a living.
Who is Cooke Maroney?
Cooke Maroney is a 37-year-old art dealer.
He is the director of the Gladstone Gallery in New York, which represents artists including Lena Dunham's dad, Carroll Dunham, Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Bjork's ex, Matthew Barney.
According to Us Weekly, Maroney went to High School in Middlebury, Vermont, before studying Art History at New York University.
He is also known on the art party scene, and previously worked at the prestigious Gagosian gallery.
When did Cooke start dating Jennifer Lawrence?
The couple started dating in May 2018, after one of Lawrence's friends, Laura Simpson, introduced them to each other.

"They met through Jen’s friend Laura. The relationship has been going on for a few weeks," a source told Page Six at the time.
The couple was first seen in public when they went on a dinner date back in June 2018.
A representative for Lawrence confirmed the news of her engagement to Maroney in February 2019.
The engagement was revealed when she was spotted wearing a ring by an eyewitness who told Page Six:
"It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it. The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots."
When did Jennifer Lawrence get married?
The happy couple said 'I do' on October 19, 2019, during a lavish ceremony in Newport, Rhode Island.
They held the nuptials at the historic Belcourt mansion, where she wore a Dior dress while her hubby looked dapper in a classic tuxedo.
Following the ceremony, guests were served a hearty meal of smoked pork belly followed by roast beef and bread pudding.
Once the meal was finished, guests were invited to really let their hair down at the glitzy party, with entertainment was provided by the covers band The Ruckus.
Even though the couple keep try to keep their relationship away from the media, Lawrence stated in an interview in November 2021 with Vanity Fair that: "So, when I started dating my now husband, I was so embarrassed to bring my [security guard] when he asked me out. I mean, how mortifying would that have been? So I didn’t, and it made me really nervous the first few times, and it turned out totally fine".
In February 2022, the couple then welcomed their first child, adding to the Lawrence family tree.
