Brian Laundrie lookalike joins TikTok to clear his name after viral vid claims to find Gabby Petitio 'suspect'

A BRIAN Laundrie lookalike has created a TikTok account to ask users for "any tips on how to best express" that he is not the missing man.

The social media user, @notbrianlaundrie, has shared a number of clips to the site in the wake of a viral video which claimed to have found Gabby Petito's fiance.


In his first post he shared a video of a Brian "sighting" in a club, telling followers: "I would just like to put all of these rumors to bed."

He then asks: "Quick request from everyone…any advice on what I should say to people who think that I am Brian Laundrie? Really appreciate it."

SIMILAR HAIR, BEARD, FRAME

The man shares a similar hair, beard and frame to Laundrie, who was reported missing by his parents on September 17.

In a follow up post he added: "I’m not Brian Laundrie."

He also asked followers for help flying "across the county" on Thursday and any tips on how to "not get attacked or accused."

The TikToker posted on Thursday wearing a hat and glasses in the airport.

Chris and Roberta Laundrie told cops they had last seen their son three days earlier on September 14.

Since then authorities have been hunting Brian, described as a person of interest in the disappearance of Gabby.

Her body was found in a Wyoming national park on September 19 after Brian returned home from their cross country trip alone on September 1.

Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed that Petito died as a result of a homicide but the cause is still pending final autopsy results.

Gabby was reported missing by her parents on September 11 with Brian disappearing days later.

BRIAN SIGHTINGS

There have been a number of alleged sightings of Brian in the days that have followed with tips coming from Mexico, Canada and Bahamas.

Closer to home it was confirmed on Tuesday that Brian and his parents stayed at the Fort De Soto Park on September 6.

Dog the Bounty Hunter suggested Brian might be on the Appalachian Trial while Alabama has also become a hotbed for potential sightings,
