  • She has made five other appearances since leaving the White House in January
  • All of these appearances have been in Palm Beach and alongside her husband

Melania Trump displayed a united from with her husband last night as she stepped out alongside the former president at a GOP fundraiser in Palm Beach, after avoiding the limelight for several months.

The former First Lady has rarely been spotted in public since she and Donald Trump vacated the White House earlier this year, but she broke her cover to attend the glamorous event at their Florida Mar-a-Lago resort.

Wearing a figure-hugging $1,900 white dress by Giambattista Valli, Melania looked elegant and relaxed as arrived at the dinner hosted by Trump for Republican National Committee donors.

In social media footage, the 50-year-old is seen walking behind Trump while they were welcomed with applause upon entering the event, and she then stood beside her husband as they both smiled and greeted guests.

The former model wore her highlighted brown hair in loose waves that fell around her shoulders and completed her look with silver jewelry and low white heels.

According to the Washington Post, former President Donald Trump spoke for around an hour at the party fundraiser, during which time he told donors that the COVID-19 vaccine should be named after him, referred to the November election in which Joe Biden won as ‘bulls**t’, and said he wished former Vice President Mike Pence had possessed the ‘courage’ to send the certification of the Electoral College votes back to state legislatures.

The former President then went on to repeat a line from 2015 calling immigrants crossing the border illegally violent criminals, this time saying ‘they’re coming in from the Middle East’, the Post reported.

Trump also hit out at Sen. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the former Republican Senate Majority Leader who’s he has since fallen out with after pinning blame on him for the January Capitol riots.

McConnell is a ‘dumb son of a bit*h,’ Trump said in his Saturday remarks, according to a CNN reporter who was told by a person in the room.

It has appeared that the former First Lady is seeking a quieter life since leaving Washington D.C., as she has made just five brief appearances in the several weeks she has been living at Mar-a-Lago with her husband and their 15-year-old son Barron.

Trump has not shied away from the public eye, having been pictured on multiple occasions; he has been seen playing golf, greeting crowds of supporters at Mar-a-Lago, and even crashing an engagement shoot at the private club.

But Melania seems to have preferred to keep a lower profile.

In January, the Trumps skipped President Joe Biden’s inauguration in Washington, D.C. and instead boarded Air Force One and flew to their Florida estate.

Upon arriving in Florida, while Donald Trump smiled for the waiting photographers, Melania refused to stop and pose for photos and instead marched purposefully away.

At the time, it appeared that the mother-of-one was making a statement that she was finished with life in the public eye and social media speculated that she appeared to ‘give no f***s’ anymore.

The recording of the stony-faced Melania striding past the media and leaving her husband the trail behind her went viral on Twitter with many users claiming she was done playing nice for the cameras.

On board Air Force One, Melania had staged an outfit change, swapping the somber black look she departed in for a colorful $3,700 Gucci dress and kicking off her $795 Christian Louboutin heels for $625 ballerina flats by Roger Vivier.

Her outfit seemed to speak volumes about her desire to throw off the stress of life in the White House – with many noting that she appeared ready for a vacation.

Melania’s apparent spurning of the press also led social media to suggest that she was not far from filing for divorce, but in her limited public appearances since the couple appear to be displaying a united front.

Most recently, Melania was spotted dining with her husband on Wednesday at Mar-a-Lago in a video shared by Sean Spicer, who previously served as Trump’s White House press secretary.

The couple also attended an Easter service together at the Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, standing side-by-side in the front row while Senior Pastor Todd Mullins led the packed chapel in prayer.

Melania was once again pictured on social media with her husband on April 2, this time at Mar-a-Lago along with her son Barron, as the Trump family strolled through an outdoor dining area at the club.

Just a few days earlier, on March 28 the family were spotted walking into Mar-a-Lago with her husband with their Secret Service detail in tow. Melania was wearing another white dress, with this one featuring black bands around her waist and the hem of her three-quarter sleeves.

Then for Easter, she shared the simple message: ‘Sending Easter blessings to everyone!’
