TED Gardner, beloved band manager and co-founder of Lollapalooza passed away Tuesday.
The cause of his death is currently unknown at this time.
Gardner's death was confirmed by his daughter Lily, according to Stuart Flint who worked with Gardner since 2006.
Gardner managed multiple artists including Tool, The Verve, Queens of the Stone Age, HUM, The Cramps, Jane’s Addiction and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
A video of Gardner was posted on The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Instagram account in tribute to Gardner with the caption, “Rest in Power, Ted.”
“A manager is a mother, a father, a book keeper, a drug counselor, marriage guidance… all of those things connected if you wanna have an association with an artist,” said Gardener in the video.
“How do you find a good manager? Very few and far apart,”
