This is the moment brave tube passengers appear to jump on the tracks to help a woman who fell off of her mobility scooter before she was struck by a train.

A group of men rushed onto the tracks at King’s Cross Tube Station in London on Saturday afternoon to help the woman after she fell while an incoming Victoria line train was just minutes away.

Frightened bystanders are heard telling the men to ‘take off her shoe’ as they try to free her from the tracks. 

Paramedics reportedly treated the woman at the scene for head injuries before she was taken to a major trauma centre with what are believed to potentially life-changing injuries.

A group of men seemingly rushed onto the tracks at King’s Cross Tube Station in London on Saturday afternoon to help the woman after she fell while an incoming Victoria line train was just minutes away

British Transport Police were called to the tube station at 1.42pm on Saturday for reports of a casualty on the tracks, a spokesperson told The Sun.

It is understood that the woman had fallen off her electric scooter while moving down the platform. 

Medics rendered aid at the scene before the woman was taken to hospital.

The Victoria line was shut at 1.45pm and the station quickly cleared out. It was later reopened by 3.44pm. 

Police said the circumstances surrounding the incident were investigated and are ‘not being treated as suspicious’.
