Dua Lipa is putting her own spin on the denim-on-denim trend.
In a photo dump posted to Instagram yesterday, the pop star shared pictures of herself grabbing dinner with friends while dressed in a Y2K-inspired, head-to-toe denim outfit. The “Don’t Start Now” singer wore a long silk slipdress from Blumarine, which featured a denim print and a high leg slit, under a slate blue bomber jacket, and a pair of skin-clinging, over-the-knee denim Diesel boots with pointed toes and stiletto heels.
Lipa kicked things up a notch with her jewelry: multiple silver earrings from French jeweler Justine Clenquet, a mix of gold and silver rings, and a gold choker with floral details. She wore her hair up in multiple braids, held together by various colorful elastic bands, and opted for rosy pink eye shadow.
“‘Twas the night before the 02!!” she wrote in the caption. “🦋 LONDON I CAN’T WAIT TO HIT THE STAGE IN A FEW HOURS!!!!!!!! 🦋”

The singer was last seen wearing pieces from Glenn Martens’s widely celebrated Diesel fall 2022 fashion show in March. She stepped out in New York City dressed in another head-to-toe denim ensemble, that time in a pair of the Italian brand’s stiletto diamond-pattern pantaboots, which she accessorized with a frayed, grungy belt that bore the label’s logo via bedazzled embellishments. She also wore a matching acid-washed, zip-up bustier and carried a denim shoulder bag with a buckle strap.
