Dune and Twin Peaks star Alicia Witt’s parents have been found dead at their home in Worcester, Massachusetts. She had asked a family member to go check on her father Robert Witt, 87, and mother Diane Witt, 75, when their bodies were discovered, according to reports.
Police are yet to confirm the cause of death.
However, it has been confirmed by the police that there were no signs of foul play.
Worcester police spokesperson Lt Sean Murtha said on Tuesday: “I can confirm that police were dispatched to the residence and discovered a male and a female deceased.
“There were no signs of foul play.
“It is under investigation.”
The Sun published a statement made by Alicia following the tragic news.
She said: “I reached out to a cousin who lives close to my parents to check on them.
“Sadly, the outcome was unimaginable.
“I ask for some privacy at this time to grieve and to wrap my head around this turn of events, and this surreal loss.”
