TOWIE star Amy Childs has opened up on dating again, following her split from ex-boyfriend Tim earlier this summer.

Speaking on The Sun’s TOWIE afterparty on Sunday night, Amy discussed her new man with longtime friend and co-star, Bobby Norris, after he asked, “How’s the love life?”

"Do you know what, Bob? I do rush into relationships, you know me,” she replied.

“I rush in, but do you know what? I'm happy.

"I'm seeing someone, a few dates – lovely. I would just like to see how it goes."

Though Amy didn't name her new man, she has been linked to First Dates contestant Billy Delbosq in recent months.

A source has told OK! that Amy and Billy connected on a night out, after learning they have a mutual friend.

The source said: "Amy and Billy have been spending some time together and she seems happy. She met him on a night out with her mates and it turns out they have a mutual friend.

"Billy's a nice guy from a lovely family – there is definitely some potential there."

Mum-of-two Amy recently opened up on her split from Tim, whom she dated for two years.

Speaking to OK! last month, Amy revealed how the pair’s break up affected her and her approach to her love life moving forward.

She said: “I split up with Tim in March but I thought, I’ll give it another go because I want the fairy tale.

“I thought, I need to sort this out for the children, because Tim was really good with them, but I thought I’m just not happy any more.

“And I’m not sure if he was happy in the relationship and we grew apart.”

Amy continued to discuss how more intense emotions grew between the former couple as they spent lockdown together.

She said: "We were with each other every single day and we were like a married couple.

“We couldn’t go anywhere, nowhere was open and you don’t really know someone until a good 18-months in and we just didn’t get on any more."

The star told us she was still on the lookout for love however, saying: "There’s someone out there for everyone. For me, my life is my children and as long as my kids are fine and work’s good and the kids do take up all my time between filming. But I do believe when I’m ready I will meet my Prince Charming.

"I would say the next partner I’m with I’d love to marry, but I’ve definitely kissed a few frogs. I’m enjoying TOWIE and I just want a laugh and to have fun. Yes, I’m a single mother to two kids, but it doesn’t mean I can’t have a laugh and have fun."
