James Jordan, 44, joined the countless fans expressing their outrage on Twitter following Strictly Come Dancing’s results show. Tyler West, 26, became the eighth celebrity eliminated from the show after head judge Shirley Ballas had to deliver a tiebreaker vote.

On Sunday evening, radio DJ Tyler and singer Molly Rainford, 21, entered the Strictly Come Dancing dance-off as they were voted in the bottom two.

Molly and her professional partner Carlos Gu performed their energetic Jive to Bandstand by Barry Manilow.

Tyler and his partner Dianne Buswell followed up with their Salsa to Megamix by KC & The Sunshine Band.

While both couples danced their hearts out, the judges were divided over who to save.

While Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse chose to save Molly and Carlos, both admitting the choice was very difficult, Anton Du Beke opted to save Tyler and Dianne.

Head judge Shirley was called in to make a tiebreaker decision and voted to save Molly and Carlos.

Following the decision, Twitter erupted as fans weighed in, many stating that Tyler and Dianne should have stayed.

Amid the fray was former Strictly professional, James Jordan who, in a barrage of tweets, declared Tyler was “robbed” and the “wrong couple were saved.”

He wrote: “100 percent no question Tyler and Dianne were better.

“Even with his small mistake – and it’s not up for discussion or an opinion

“Tyler was better than Molly in every way in that dance off.

“And that’s nothing against Molly as I’ve always had her back when she’s been in the dance off before. And I think she’s great.

“However – Tyler and Dianne were far superior in that dance off.

“I will always speak the truth.”

One Strictly fan wrote: “This is a joke! I’ve been watching Strictly since 2007 and this is now the 2nd time I’ve reacted as angrily to someone leaving as I have this time (the other time being Aston Merrygold).

“Absolutely ridiculous.”

Another blasted Molly and Carlos saying: “If someone’s already been in the dance off three times why do they keep saving her?

“Not like she has a chance of winning as final on votes alone! Feel sorry for Tyler as that jive contained very little actual jive!”

Others supported the decision saying Molly had “final material” and shouldn’t have been in the dance off to begin with.

One even noted that “having watched Strictly every year”, they knew Tyler was destined for the bottom.

They said: “I said as soon as you were dressed in white trousers and a wig you were doomed.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 7:15pm on BBC One.
