Princess Eugenie and her son, August Brooksbank, are bonding over the beauty of nature.
To mark World Environment Day, the young royal took to Instagram to share a new image of herself and her four-month-old son. Eugenie can be seen wearing a sporty ensemble, including an oversized, fur-trimmed navy parka; black mesh cutout leggings; and light-blue lace-up sneakers. Baby August is cozily tucked into his carrier, wearing an adorable knit beanie to keep warm. Eugenie shared the new mother-son snap along with further personal images, including shots of the lush greenery and foliage of Frogmore Cottage, a snap of paddling in a lake, and even a scene from elephant watching in Africa.
“🌎 environment Day 2021!! Thank you world for giving us such a beautiful place to live,” Eugenie wrote alongside the post. “To mark this day I wanted to share some photos over the years (and more recent ones 👶🏻) that remind me how amazing our environment is and how we must always protect it.”

World Environment Day wasn’t the only special occasion Eugenie celebrate this weekend. She also took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to congratulate her cousin Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, on the birth of their second child, a baby girl named Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten Windsor.
“Congratulations dear cousins,” Eugenie wrote alongside the same black-and-white photograph that the Sussexes shared earlier this year for their pregnancy announcement. “We couldn’t be happier for you all.”
