‘This year’s Love Islanders need to toughen up – they’re on holiday’ says Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood is known for her no-nonsense opinions and brutal honesty, and as we catch up with the Love Island alumni, the blondie gives us her take on this year's islanders.

“People need to toughen up,” Meet Your Match star Olivia, 31, says. “You’re on a TV show and a girls’ holiday – lighten up!”

She continued: "I’m loving it. I’ve got to say, there’s definitely no standout winner yet – the couples don’t seem solid at all.

"I think Luca [Bish] is very sweet, I just hope he doesn’t let himself get walked all over. He seems to be the only loyal boy in there – even though everyone is saying, 'Oh, he just wants to meet [Gemma’s dad] Michael Owen,' give the lad a f***ing break!"

Olivia then said: "I’m a big fan of Ekin-Su [Cülcüloglu] as well, she’s got so much sass.

"And Davide [Sanclimenti] is such a funny boy. I didn’t expect him to be!"

During Olivia's time in the villa, the Guildford-born reality star sparked mixed reactions from viewers.

Despite being dubbed a "hot-head" by half the audience, Liv gained a huge following of fans who consistently praised her for speaking her mind, even if that often got her into trouble with her fellow Islanders.

She said: "Yes, me and Chris [Hughes] were always at logger-heads. But we also had so many fun experiences together on the show."

Olivia and Chris, 29, got on like a house on fire on their series. After confessing their feelings for one another, they even fronted the reality series 'Chris and Olivia: Crackin' On' after departing from the villa.

However, the pair decided to part ways just eight months later.

Olivia has happily moved on as she is now engaged to footballer Bradley Dack, and speaking of their upcoming nuptials, she shares: "We’re set to tie the knot next summer.

"Covid got in the way and then Brad sustained a major injury. We’ve made the right choice in delaying because I want it all to be about me and Brad. But it’s booked now, so the countdown is on."

Olivia previously told fans that she wanted to elope in Vegas, but Brad "didn't want to".

She said on her Instagram stories: "Omg this question. Just because it's so much. We are booked for June 2023. I want to elope and get married in Vegas, Brad doesn't want to.

"He wants to have the traditional wedding. He thinks I will regret it in the future, which maybe I would."

Love Island continues on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
