I spent £700 on SKIMS – I do like the clothes but feel like Kim Kardashian is just trolling us with these prices | The Sun

FASHION fans have been going wild for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand.

One YouTube fashionista has even spent as much as £700 on the brand, with some rather mixed results.

Posting to her YouTuber channel, fashion fan Roxi, shares and reviews the items she purchased.

Her first items were the Cozy boucle knitted trousers and the Cozy stretch-knitted top, which are £96 and £56 respectively.

The top, Roxi says, is super soft and stretchy so is clearly good quality, however she still seems doubtful that it was really worth the high price tag.

However, the trousers she says have a justifiable cost, due to the high quality material and length of the legs. But when she tries them on they run slightly too big and actually add inches to her waistline.

Her next item is the Soft Lounge long-sleeve stretch-jersey nightdress. Like the other items, Roxi says this feels very high quality and stretchy.

Trying it one she says: “Oh my god, this dress. I am in love,” adding that both the waist and the neckline look amazing.

Next she tries a strappy grey maxi dress, which appears to be out of stock, which Roxi says she loves and while it is somewhat overpriced at £91, she argues that’s actually the best item from SKIMS.

Showing off the Cozy boucle knitted shorts she says that these were also quite expensive, but with SKIMS they tend to be good quality and you do mostly get what you pay for.

The next item in Roxi’s haul is a bra top and leggings. The bra top she says was £34 adding they are “one of the more reasonably items, but is still a rip off for a little bra.”

The leggings were over £60, and Roxi points out you could probably get a pair of Lululemons or Fabletics, for the same price, and they would probably be better quality for working out.

Pairing the top and legging she describes it as “the world’s most basic but most expensive outfit ever.”

However, wearing them she says that she does actually quite like them.

The penultimate item in the haul is the Slim-fit ribbed stretch-cotton mini dress, which Roxi says is nice but she isn’t wowed by, but it does have a great feel around the waist.

The final item Roxi tries is the Evrybdy Sqr Neck Body, which costs £69.

Discussing the price she says: “This must have cost about £9 to make,” but like with many of the others, she says it is so good when she puts it on.

Roxi says that well she did love a lot of these items, she’s returning some due to the cost, adding that she feels as if Kim Kardashian is trolling with the prices of some of these.
