I spent $900 and 12 hours getting my hair done – 'it destroyed my scalp and I was left with burns all over my face'

AFTER a "hair appointment from hell," one woman shared how she was left with chemical burns and a damaged scalp.

She claimed she spent $900 and 12 hours at the hair salon only to wake up the next day with chemical burns.

Beginning her story, an NYC woman claimed she went to a hairstylist at around 3 pm for a color job and micro link hair extensions.

The woman did clarify that she had hair damage from a previous appointment when the color seeped from her extension into her real hair so she had to get a few inches taken off as well.

In the video, the woman claimed her hairdresser was being "careless" during the entirety of her visit and showed how her forehead and neck had been stained with dye.

After getting the cut and color, the hairstylist then installed a set of micro link extensions, but the woman wasn't a fan of them.

"I hate it. It's super bulky, it's thin I don't like it," she said in the video.

When she told the hairstylist how she felt, she allegedly got "an attitude."

A second hairstylist then came in and worked on the woman's hair, despite her complaints.

"It was really thin, it was bulky, it was just not how it was supposed to look."

After spending over nine hours together, the original hairstylist allegedly called her a "bald-headed b**ch," tried to fight her," and sent her to the second stylist.

The pained woman ended up getting traditional extensions by the other hairstylist who was with her until 4 am.

But, the story only gets worse.

After getting some much-deserved sleep, she allegedly woke up with chemical burns around her hairline and even had to go to a dermatologist for treatment.

Some users told the woman to contact the board of cosmetology to have the hairstylist's license reviewed while another user blamed the woman for being cheap and wrote: "You def went the cheaper route… there are plenty of stylists in NY that do an amazing job with micro links etc."

But the woman commented backed with: "the appointment was $900?"

On the other side of things, a separate hairdresser revealed the nightmares they face every day in their jobs.

Additionally, another hairdresser shared how she had to "fire" her nightmare client for mocking other customers.
