I was blown away after lad took me to The Shard on our first date – then got a HUMILIATING text from his girlfriend

EVERYONE has a different idea of what makes the perfect first date – but if you ask us, a romantic meal at The Shard is as good as it gets.

So when this TikTok user was treated to a posh night in central London by the guy she'd been messaging, she was pretty much on cloud nine.

Like you do with any destination date, the woman was happily sharing photos from their evening on her Instagram Stories.

During the course of the night, the couple posed for photos in front of the stunning skyline.

And in another, the woman's flirtatious date even had his arms wrapped around her.

And although it seemed to be going amazingly well at first, things took a turn for the worse when the bloke's GIRLFRIEND of five years got in touch.

In response to a picture of their cocktails, his other half wrote: "Hi girl, I don't know if you're aware of this but you are on a date with my boyfriend."

However rather than immediately kicking off, the girlfriend gave the woman the benefit of the doubt – but was still determined to completely humiliate the guy.

"Not your fault," she added. "You might not have known it."

In a viral TikTok video that's racked up over 1.6 MILLION views, the woman shared screenshots of their messages and how the bloke had asked his girlfriend to prep his outfit for him.

The girlfriend claimed: "He made me iron his shirt, wash his jeans.

"Before leaving, he told me: 'Babe I need you in my life.'"

Using the clown emoji, the woman then captioned the clip: "Took me to The Shard for our first date… to find out he had a girlfriend of five years."

The clip has racked up over 144,000 "likes" on TikTok and viewers were impressed by how the girlfriend handled herself.

One wrote: "Good on her for not taking it out on you like most women do."

Another added: "Taking pics on a first date is so wild anyway – but taking pics on a first date when you have a GIRLFRIEND? Men are mad."

"The way she approached you was so kind," a third wrote. "A testament to her character and I hope she finds someone who treats her better."

For more dating horror stories, this woman spent £176 on her boyfriend’s Uber account after she saw him ‘cheating’ on Facetime – the truth was VERY different.

And this woman's husband slept with her best friend and blamed her low sex drive – they have 4 kids and it happened during 3 pregnancies.

Plus this bride shared the VERY strict rules in place for her wedding – including when you can have a beer.
