I’m a beauty pro, you’ve been shaving your privates wrong & it’s why you’re itchy – first error is probably your razor

A BEAUTY whizz has gone viral after revealing how to shave your privates correctly – and you've probably been doing it all wrong.

Unless you've embraced the au naturel look, shaving your intimates is a part of your daily routine in the shower – but although it's something most have been doing for years, there is also a high chance you've been doing it wrong.

If you always find your intimates below covered in bumps and itchy spots, an expert has revealed that it could have something to do with how you shave, explaining it's all about the right angles.

In a video, which has since taken the internet by storm, racking up more than 3.1 million views in just three days, the razor brand Ecotivity shared a list of Dos and Don'ts when giving your delicate intimates a trim.

Demonstrating a tutorial on a drawing, one of the experts said that shaving with a multiple blade razor could be responsible for causing an itchy sensation.

Another big no-no, the beauty pro revealed, is going in the wrong direction.

For most, going in an upwards motion towards your belly button seems like the most natural way – and it might feel more comfortable for your wrists too.

But this, according to the professional, is something you should avoid by all means.

Instead of making these crucial mistakes, give your privates the shave of their lifetime by ditching the old multiple blade razor and learning how to do it properly.

To avoid any itchy bumps and cuts, switch to a single blade razor and make sure to shave down with the hair growth.

But whilst the expert claimed this was the best way to give your privates a shave, not everyone was convinced, with many thinking shaving downwards wouldn't do the job.

''that doesn't get rid of the hair [sic],'' thought one, while a second agreed: ''well obviously I gotta shave directly up to get it hella smooth [sic].''

However, it wasn't all negative feedback, as there were also some who took it to comments to share support.
