A SAVING experts has revealed how to save hundreds of pounds at major retailers using a little-known hack.

Posting on TikTok under the username NDA, the money-saving whizz regularly uploads videos on how to make your cash go the extra mile.


And his latest hack outlines just how easy it is to get discounts on your shopping and "save tonnes of money online".

NDA says that his 'Abandoned Basket Method' is so simple that anyone can take advantage of it.

He starts the video by telling viewers that the first step is to simply go onto the website you want to buy from.

And you should then fill your shopping basket with items that you're keen to purchase.

The TikToker says that you should leave everything in your basket and "walk away for 2-3 days".

He claims that in those days you'll get an email from the company with a discount.

Some companies including H&M, ASOS, Curry's, Boohoo and Harvey Nichols will give you 50% off, according to NDA.

The life-hack expert adds that big supermarket chains such as Asda, Tesco and Waitrose "will give you discounts £10 to £150 off".

TikTokers were quick to take to the comment section to share their thoughts on the hack.

One said: "I always leave stuff in my basket for a few days no1 emails me anything."

"50%? More like 5% if you’re lucky," said another.

It comes after a bargain expert shared a genius hack that can save you up to £349 on your online shopping.
