I’m a 'slim thick' Hooters worker – people take the Lord’s name in vain when they see me, they think I'm breaking rules | The Sun

POPULAR restaurant chain Hooters is known for its strict uniform policy.

Servers wear tight tops and shorts but they have to follow a series of rules when it comes to their appearance.

Dozens of Hooters girls have offered fans a glimpse into the strict rulebook and revealed that tattoos should be covered.

TikToker Burgandy Lea Taylor (@burgandybarbie), who describes herself as "slim thick", stunned viewers as they noticed she had not covered up the artwork.

Slim thick women tend to have smaller stomachs and larger hips, per Women's Health.

Critics accused Burgandy of flouting the restaurant's rules as her tattoo was showing.

Some fans were so surprised that they reacted by using the Lord’s name in vain.

One viewer wrote in the comments section of the viral clip: “God lee.”

A TikToker quizzed Burgandy and said: “Hooters girls can have tats? I applied near me and never heard back. I assumed it was because of my tattoos.”

She replied: “This was during the pandemic when we were only open for ToGo.”

Burgandy captioned the clip: “When you get bored at work.”

The TikToker has since revealed that she does not work for Hooters anymore.

Hooters girls have documented the strict rules that they must follow.

Server Brooke Hice (@hicehicebabyyy) shared four uniform regulations in a viral clip.

She explained that her sneakers must always be clean and nude tights can never have a run in them.

Brooke revealed that workers have to fork out $5 to buy tights from a machine.

She also revealed that stains ruin a worker’s appearance and shorts must cover a server’s bottom.

Viewers were left stunned after Brooke shared the revelation about stockings.

One asked: “You guys have to use your own money to buy tights? Like shouldn’t that be provided for you, lol?"

Brooke responded: "Yes we use our own money! It’s part of the job!"

Former Hooters girl Jenn (@just.jenn80), who worked for the chain restaurant in 2002, revealed she had to follow a series of rules.

She claimed that workers were required to follow “strict requirements” on their hair and makeup but didn't explain the rules in detail.

Hooter’s uniform policy has caused a widespread debate online.

In October 2021, the restaurant chain came under fire after some staffers claimed the chain’s new black uniform was x-rated.

The restaurant chain said on its website: “Hooters of America, franchisor and operator of Hooters restaurants, appreciates the feedback, both positive and negative, regarding a more accommodating and inclusive image policy on tattoos, jewelry, nails, hairstyles as well as new uniform options – to include new top styles, shorts and the addition of crew socks.
