Lady Amelia Spencer married her long-term boyfriend Greg Mallett near Cape Town, in South Africa, in a “spectacular” wedding. The couple got engaged in July 2020 and chose the South African country for an idyllic ceremony surrounded by their closest friends, family and a heavenly landscape.

Princess Diana’s niece explained why they chose Cape Town for their wedding: “It means so much to get married here. Growing up here together for the last 14 years…

“All of mine and Greg’s happiest times as a couple are here. It’s even more special now,” she told HELLO!.

Amelia’s twin sister Lady Eliza, and her other sister Lady Kitty Spencer, who married millionaire Michael Lewis in Italy last year, all attended the event.

Greg revealed before the ceremony that he had been “dreaming of watching Amelia walk down the aisle for 14 years”.

The couple posted a picture together on the social media platform Instagram hours before the wedding with the caption: “Not long now…”

For the pre-wedding reception party at a luxurious villa with ocean views, Lady Amelia chose a stunning long gold dress.

The couple decided to host a welcome party for all their guests the day before the ceremony and Amelia looked gorgeous in the silky dress with an open back.

She combined the gown with matching gold pumps and styled her hair in a chic ponytail while Greg sported a grey suit and white sneakers.
