People are just realizing what the hole in a tape dispenser is for & it makes life so much easier | The Sun

TAPE is sold rolled around in a circle, creating a hole in the middle – but one TikToker says that hole isn't an accident.

In fact, she says in a viral video, the hole is there to make your life easier, a revelation that's come as a shock to many.

An unidentified woman shared the original video, which has since been duetted with another TikTok user, Marcayla.

"I was today years old when I found out what the hole in the tape dispenser is really for," the TikToker says.

"How many times have you been using tape, like hanging something up, decorating maybe, and usually you have someone else with you and you say, 'Pass me the tape

"Or, if you're by yourself, you have to get down off the stool or chair or whatever, and go physically pick up the tape.
