A PET expert has shared five urgent warning signs all dog lovers should be alert to.

Keep a close eye on your family pet, they urged, because a visit to the vet ASAP might be required if they are ignored.


PetLab Co (@petlabco) offers "expert pet advice" to its huge audience of over 681,000 followers and another 12.4 million likes.

In this post, they informed dog lovers of the pointers that could indicate all is not well with their family pets.

“One, diarrhea lasting more than two days," they said.

Persistent diarrhea can cause dehydration and if it lasts longer can indicate some other underlying health issue.

“Two, blood in stools."

Another sign that should not be dismissed. This could indicate either a food allergy, constipation, or even a bacterial or viral infection.

Any indications of any of these and take your dog to the vet ASAP.

“Three, frequent vomiting or unable to keep food down," wrote the pet experts.

Vomiting that does not seem to clear itself up should raise alerts.Again this can suggest allergies or bacterial or viral infections, or even an inflammatory condition.
