Queen's closest confidante who Harry screamed at: 'What Meghan wants, Meghan gets' releasing tell-all book to rival his

THE Queen's closest confidante – whom Prince Harry allegedly screamed at – is releasing a tell-all book to rival his.

The Duke of Sussex is said to have clashed with royal dresser Angela Kelly over a choice of tiara ahead of his wedding in 2018, yelling: "WhatMeghan wants, Meghan gets".

Angela, who has been with Her Majesty for 28 years, penned book The Other Side of the Coin in 2019, revealing the secrets from behind Palace doors.

But the monarch, 95, has given her blessing to her trusted aide to reveal the Covid lockdown secrets in a new chapter.

It is timed for released next month during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee – just months before Harry, 37, publishes his autobiography, due out this autumn.

Her Majesty was living at Windsor under restrictions when Harry and Meghan dished the dirt in their Oprah Winfrey interview last year, and she sat alone at a scaled-back funeral for Prince Philip.

Now, Angela and the duke's tomes will go head to head, just as they allegedly did four years ago.

It was claimed Harry shouted "what Meghan wants, Meghan gets" at royal staff as he was "stressed" about wedding preparations.

And the authors of Megxit book Finding Freedom claim the row happened – but Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand instead blamed Angela for deliberately dragging her feet in helping the duchess out.

Liverpool crane driver’s daughter Angela's formal title is Personal Advisor to Her Majesty (The Queen’s Wardrobe) but she is known as her closest confidante.

She was part of HMS Bubble and with the Queen on the day of her late husband's funeral, and her new chapter will reveal all.

Publisher HarperCollins said: "The Queen personally gave Angela her blessing to share their unparalleled bond with the world and Angela is the first serving member of the Royal Household to be given this extraordinary permission."

It will cover lockdown when the Queen was protected by her ring-of-steel, and it is set to show how Angela cut and set the Queen’s hair, as well as covering the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

HarperNonFiction publishing director Katya Shipster said: “We wanted to commemorate the extraordinary occasion of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with this beautiful new edition, as well as bring the content of the book right up to date following the unprecedented events of the past two years.

“It tells the story of the royal bubble as well as the lengths Angela and the Royal Household went to, to ensure the safety of our Monarch.”

The Queen was triple jabbed and avoided the dreaded virus until she caught Covid in February.

Last week, she described how it left “one feeling tired and exhausted”.

She is braced for the two tell-all books coming out soon – which come after "publicity hungry" Harry and Meghan left her "deeply hurt" by snubbing Philip's memorial service for a trip to Holland.

The Sun revealed last year that Harry has been researching the life of Princess Diana.

Insiders believe he will lay into his father Prince Charles and stepmother Camilla.
