Supermarket worker quits job by leaving ‘brutal’ note on her boss’ desk – and people are applauding her sassy comment

A SUPERMARKET worker who quit her job has shared the “sassy” note she left on her bosses desk.

The savage note was shared by a US-based Reddit user who works at the department store Target.

The note reads: “Hey Jordan! Just wanted to let you know that I will not be returning to work tomorrow or next week!

“Thx hun – M. P.S. I will never understand why you were so rude to me!”

The employee explained that she had casually left the note on her manager’s desk during what was her last shift.

Fellow Redditors were quick to applaud her brutal note in the comments.

“Absolute legend” wrote one, while another agreed, “I L O V E THIS!”

A third added: “Good job. I don’t know you but I am proud of you.”

However, others weren’t so complimentary, with several commenters accusing the woman of “burning bridges.”

One wrote: “I understand there are circumstances where this might not apply but to anyone thinking of quitting you should really put in a 2 weeks and finish out the rest of those shifts.”

Agreeing a second added: “Y’all may laugh and cheer on how to leave a job- but trust me, once you step foot out of retail and into a more professional career, you’ll see what what we’re saying about burning bridges.”
