A Peek Inside David Beckham’s $20 Million Miami Penthouse With A Helipad

David and Victoria Beckham are one of Hollywood’s power couples. David Beckham came to prominence as a talented soccer player, while Victoria Beckham dominated the world of music as Posh Spice with the Spice Girls. Over the years, the couple has ventured into several businesses and brand endorsements to amass a whopping $450 million fortune. The Beckhams spend their net worth planning expensive vacations with their four children and buying numerous real estate properties around the world. Their newest property is a luxury penthouse in Miami located at an iconic location that offers countless amenities and unique features, unlike any other penthouse.

While the Beckhams have several sleek and beautiful properties, the luxury high-rise is the most modern and contemporary of their homes, featuring minimalist styles and intelligent architecture. Including features such as a helipad, let’s take a look inside David Beckham’s eye-popping Miami penthouse.

A Building Created By The Best

The deal to buy the home went on for months before the Beckhams purchased the property. The decision came after David Beckham bought a stake in the Inter Miami CF and spent a significant amount of time in the city of Miami. According to Mansion Global, the deal of purchase was made under Beckham Brand Limited, the licensing and partnership firm owned by David Beckham.

The penthouse is located in the iconic One Thousand Museum Tower, which is close to the city’s Downtown. It offers scenic views of the Miami skyline and Biscayne Bay. It is the first and last residential property designed by late famed architect Zaha Hadid who has won several accolades for her previous work on commercial buildings. Hadid passed away while the building was still under construction.

The One Thousand Museum Tower is also called The Scorpion due to its exoskeleton structure and rises 705 feet in the air. The building has 62 floors with 84 residencies, including four townhouses, one two-story duplex penthouse, and 70 half-floor units. The Beckhams bought a full-floor penthouse, one out of the only ten available in the building at the time of purchase, as noted by Robb Report.

A Home With Futurism

The $20 million penthouse spans across 10,335 sq. ft. of the area and comprises five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. German designer Uli Petzold designed the building with integrated video systems and security. The building has a futuristic design complimented with open spaces and high ceilings. The kitchen is the most luxurious part of the home, designed with a minimalist design made with custom Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops, appliances by Gaggenau, and a SubZero fridge.

One of the unique aspects of the penthouse is the irregular shape of the living spaces. Given the exterior of the building is shaped like an exo-skeleton, the home blends with the curves outside, which gives a different shape to the living room and bedrooms, as stated by Architectural Digest. The oversized private terraces offer ample space to soak the Miami heat while dining or lounging at their leisure.

This revolutionary architecture has an iconic design with sophistication and privacy that the family needs to be away from the media. It is the most identifiable building in the city by a long margin and offers private amenities that can only be found in a luxury five-star hotel.

A Retreat For The Elite

The building officially opened to the residents in 2019 and offers features not seen in many buildings. One Thousand Museum Tower has a private rooftop helipad that the family can use to travel in style. It is the first residential rooftop helipad in Miami. A Sky Lounge is situated on the top two floors, which also has communal dining spaces for socializing with the other residents. The lounge has arched, water-drop interior walls designed by Hadid and New York pastry chef Mame Sow, the culinary director of the building caters to the dining.

The Aquatic Center in the building has an indoor lap pool and offers a wellness center and spa. According to Observer, the spa offers saunas and steam rooms, and an additional amenity is a cinema room in the building for private movie screenings.

Along with the $20 million penthouses in Miami, the Beckhams own several properties in various locations. Their real estate portfolio consists of homes such as the Holland Park House in London, a Cotswolds retreat, an apartment and villa in Dubai, a Spanish Villa, a property in LA, and a Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire in the UK.

Their newest home, purchased after David Beckham co-owned the Inner Miami FC, has been the best purchase of the couple. The house is equipped to meet all the demands. As the Major League Soccer season is underway, David Beckham may often use his luxury abode.
