Drake has nothing but love for Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his son, Adonis.
“Happy Mother’s Day big mama,” the rapper, 34, wrote on his Instagram Story on Sunday.
The note accompanied a photo of Brussaux, 31, resting her head on the pair’s 3-year-old child.
The French artist also shared new pictures of Adonis to her Instagram page.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the queens taking the best care of their little ones. For creating life and nurturing that precious gift,” she wrote.
Since posting photos of the toddler’s face for the first time in March 2020, Drake has been regularly updating fans with glimpses at Adonis’ lavish life.
As for why the Grammy winner finally felt comfortable sharing private photos of his son, he explained in May 2020 that he wanted to “share memories” like any other father who uses social media.
“I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket,” the Canadian star said on Lil Wayne’s “Young Money Radio” on Apple Music. “I just wanted to free myself of that.”

News broke in 2018 that Drake had fathered a child with the former porn star. At the time, his rap rival Pusha T released a diss track that claimed Drake had a son — which ultimately led the “Degrassi” alum to confirm Adonis’ existence on his album “Scorpion.”
In his song “Emotionless,” Drake rapped: “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world / I was hiding the world from my kid.” The lyrics also included, “From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / Until you’re starin’ at your seed, you could never relate.”
