'Britain's most tattooed mum' is ready for her eighth child after spending three years celibate – but faces one problem.

Melissa Sloan, 46, from Wales, is infamous for her collection of ink she's established over more than half of her life. She started getting etched with designs all over her body when she was 20 – and then took the plunge to cover her face with the likes of crucifixes and Playboy bunnies 10 years ago.

The mum-of-seven children – five of which are estranged – lives with her partner Luke and her two youngest children, daughters Autumn, 11, and Summer, nine.

But despite having a bumper brood, Melissa's sex drive has been non-existent for the last three years and has sworn by celibacy. But, in a recent surge of "love and passion", the self-proclaimed tattoo 'addict' has decided to unleash her sexual prowess – and try for her eighth baby, making for her third child with Luke.

Going from ink-addicted to sex-mad, Melissa exclusively shared with Daily Star about her mission to get knocked up – and how the baby, if she gets pregnant, will never see her real face.

"I want another baby soon,” Melissa candidly shared. "I’m trying for another baby. I told the nurse this the other day and she was shocked, her eyes popped out!

"See I haven’t had sex for three years but my kids keep asking for a brother or sister.

"So we’re working on it now. But at my age, 46, it’s a bit scary and if I do it now, get it out the way and have it when I’m 47. It’s baby number eight now but you can have complications with everything, can’t you? You’ve just go to think positive.

"I ain’t go no menopause at the moment, that’s what I went to the doctors for and irregular bleeding. But, she did give me some pills to take, contraception pills for now to stop the bleeding a little bit with this irregular thing going on.

"She said if I’m going to try [to get pregnant] then don’t bother taking the pills – I haven’t picked them up, they’re in the chemist."

The fact Melissa's child won't see her without ink doesn't faze her – especially as this has been the same situation with her two youngest kids.

Autumn and Summer were even 'scared' of her when she covered her face with foundation that hid the ink.

At the time, she said: “They burst out crying and even my dog looked twice… I wanted a change. I wanted to challenge myself but the kids were scared they wanted me back.

"They were frightened of me with makeup on – it scared them to death and they wouldn't come by me!"

As her family has grown so used to her alternative look, Melissa feels like her future baby won't bat an eyelid either.

"The baby will never see my face but it will get used to it when it’s growing up, this is who I am," urged Melissa, who thinks she has more than 800 tattoos, although she's lost count.

"I’m in the right place now and I’ve got room love and passion. The reason why I didn’t want more [kids] was because the way the world was going with all this war and everything, there’s no future.

"But I thought, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it now because it’s going to be too late and I’ll regret it. I’ve got love for the child, the house is a bit small with two bedrooms, but we can work on it.

"If I do get pregnant I can wear fancy clothes and show off my belly."

Although she is not currently pregnant, Melissa already has some names saved up for her potential future tot. She noted that partner Luke has always wanted a boy, but are both happy no matter the gender.

The mum was inspired by two of the seasons for the names of her youngest sprogs, and is influenced by the rest of the times of the year for her future child's moniker.

“I’ve already got names for it," Melissa gushed. "When we were going to do it in the past the names are still there.

"If it’s a boy he will be Winter Gus Jonah Jones, if it’s a girl it will be the other season name…Spring. But, I haven’t really thought about the girls name yet.”
