Inside actor Will Mellor’s gorgeous family home with stylish kitchen and big garden

Actor Will Mellor is returning to Corrie as resident bad guy Harvey Gaskell.

The talented actor is set to pile the pressure on Simon, using threats to get what he wants.

The 45 year old Bredbury-born star's life away from the screen is far cry from that of Harvey luckily, and he lives in a lovely home with his wife Michelle McSween and their two children son, Jayden, and daughter Renee.

Will occasionally shares snaps of his lovely home with his 287,000 followers on Instagram.

On his daughter's birthday Will posted a snap of her grinning away with huge helium balloons.

The star's lounge has dark green walls and a brown cabinet with various ornaments and family photos on. There's a stylish green lamp hanging from the wall too.

Sharing a snap of his son celebrating tuning 16 in the same spot, we see wooden floors run throughout the home and there's a large picture of Marilyn Monroe on one of the walls.

The kitchen looks very spacious, and Will snapped a photo smiling with a cup of tea.

There's a large white island in the centre of the space, and stylish white cupboards wrap their way around the room.

In another shot, we see a large white dining table with flowers on and marble flooring spanning the big space.

The lounge also boasts a large plasma screen and a fireplace, and a coffee table where Will popped his feet up at Christmas while donning some Grinch slippers.

Will and his wife's garden is stunning too, and they enjoyed a teepee party out there during the summer.

The polished space features a stylish swing chair with red cushions on and the lawn is large.

The garden also features a rattan table and you can see the back of Will's red brick home and kitchen as he talks to the camera.

Opening up about joining the hit ITV show, Will said: “I’m honoured to be asked to come into Coronation Street, it’s such an iconic show and has been a huge part of my family life.

"When I started acting 32 years ago it was my mum’s dream for me to be in Corrie so I’m happy to finally be able to make it come true. It’s a Manchester institution and as a Manchester actor this is definitely a box ticked.

"Harvey is the first out and out baddie I’ve ever played. It’s a very different type of role for me so I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into the character and making some waves.”

Will is an English actor and presenter who has been in a range of well known shows.

The star was born in Greater Manchester and he’s been acting since 1990, starting out when he was just 14.

His first role was as Ben Rowlingson in kids’ programme Children’s Ward.
