Love Island rich list: Which star has made the most money since finding fame in the villa?

Even if you leave Love Island without a lover on your arm, you can still ultimately come out a winner.

This is because the show serves as a fantastic career launchpad, with former contestants leaping high in to the stratosphere of influencer deals, advertising campaigns and spin-off shows.

A few weeks sunbathing and snogging can truly mean you’re set for life if, of course, you play your cards right.

Let’s take a look at some of those beautiful young things that seemed to have come up trumps, and are raking in the millions.

Here are the richest former contestants…

Alex and Olivia Bowen – £4.4 million

Power couple Alex and Olivia are by far the richest of all the ex-islanders. They have married since leaving the show in 2016, and have worked together on their own fashion label, Exempt Society.

They both also have successful careers as social media influencers and Olivia has also modelled and released her own separate clothing range too.

Dani Dyer – £2.4 million

On returning to England, Dani secured a six figure sum to be the face of Mark Hill hair products, while working on her own fashion range with In The Style.

But that’s not all, she also released an autobiography and appeared in Nativity: The Musical, which she starred in opposite her dad on the West End.

Additionally, when she posts on Instagram to her millions of followers the mum-of-one reportedly earns up to £15,000 a time!

Amber Gill – £2 million

Love Island’s 2019 winner, Amber Gill, landed a whopping £1 million deal with Miss Pap after leaving the villa. Through endorsements and her fitness company Amber Flexx, the beauty is in a very comfortable position.

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury – £2 million

Love Island favourites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury ooze power couple vibes. The stars have amassed huge Instagram followings and they’ve had success after success since departing the villa, from Molly’s PrettyLittleThing and Beauty Works deals to Tommy’s boxing. The stars are believed to have a very impressive combined net worth of £2 million.

Megan Barton Hanson – £2 million

Blonde beauty Megan is thought to be worth £2 million since leaving the villa. She joined Pretty Little Things unofficial sponsor and she’s accrued a huge following on Instagram. As well, Megan is an ambassador for tanning company the Isle of Paradise, as well as starring in campaigns for Ann Summers.

Amber Davies – £1.6 million

After Amber Davies was crowned winner of Love Island 2017, she has barely been off our screens. But aside from regular TV appearances, the Welsh starlet makes a killing with her ever-popular posts on social media.

She finished her run in the musical 9-5 where she starred opposite Louise Redknapp and Brian Conley, and she also has deals with fashion label Motel Rocks and lingerie brand Boux Avenue.

Kem Cetinay – £1.5 million

Amber’s ex boyfriend and co-winner Kem has also been a regular fixture on TV since his rise to fame.

The Essex lad has appeared on everything from Good Morning Britain and This Morning, to Dancing on Ice. He even returned back to the ice rink the next year, but this time as a presenter.

Unsurprisingly, Kem also does well with his Instagram page, and has managed to snap up deals with BoohooMAN and Sainsbury’s.

Although he may have split with Amber his relationship with best friend Chris Hughes stayed true, and together the two appeared in ITV2 spin-offs You vs Chris & Kem, and Straight Outta Love Island.

Chris Hughes – £1.4 million

Chris, who finished third with TOWIE star Olivia Atwood, went on to make the aforementioned shows with Kem, his true love. However, he also went on to star in another show with his romantic love and then girlfriend: Chris & Olivia: Crackin’ On.

He has also done well out of social media posting, personal appearances and presenting gigs – and he even covers horse racing on ITV. It seems like he is on the right track!

Gabby Allen – £1.3 million

Qualified personal trainer Gabby is quite the entrepreneur, having launched a her own fitness app – Shape Up With Gabby Allen – which topped the app store charts.

Marcel Somerville’s former girlfriend has also racked up earnings from her clothing brand with Quiz and an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.

Olivia Attwood – £1.2 million

Olivia Attwood has become a big name since leaving the villa, and she’s amassed a fortune as a result. The blonde beauty has her own show with beau Bradley Dack, she’s got a magazine column and has a clothing deal with In the Style. Olivia also appeared on TOWIE.

Kady McDermott – £1.3 million

Love Island alum Kady McDermott has reportedly banked a whopping £1.3 million since leaving the show. Kady launched a fitness plan and beauty line and also popped up on TOWIE alongside her now-boyfriend Myles Barnett, who she’s currently doing up a bungalow with.

Wes Nelson – £1 million+

Although we do not know his exact net worth, Wes revealed he became a millionaire at 21.

In an interview with The Sun the star and rapper said: "I was a millionaire by the age of 21. And that’s not being a show off or anything, but it’s wise investments and understanding this life doesn’t last forever.

"I’ve been lucky to have so many shows under my belt, and I’m super grateful for that.

"I have a passive income and generational wealth, so my children, whenever they come about, they’re not going to have to work again. I don’t have to work again."

Good for him!
