Michael Owen’s huge net worth revealed after successful football career

Michael Owen's eldest daughter Gemma is currently looking for love in the Love Island villa.

But when she's not under the Majorcan sun, the 19 year old calls a very impressive pad home.

The brunette beauty lives in a sprawling £4 million mansion in the Welsh countryside, along with her mum Louise and her two younger sisters, Emily, 14, and Jessica, 12, and brother James, 16.

The Owens purchased the property back in 2001 and have lived there ever since, and it comes as no surprise that it's extremely luxurious.

The sprawling Grade-II-listed manor is set among 42 acres in the countryside, with plenty of room for Gemma and mum Louise's horses.

So just how much is dad Michael worth after his successful football career? Here's a look…

What is Michael Owen's net worth?

As a result of his successful career, Michael is reported to have made a whopping £54.4million, according to Idol Net Worth.

In his time, the 42 year old scored a whopping 150 Premier League goals in 326 games.

He also has a record of 142 wins in England and Wales’ top division and just 95 losses.

Michael announced his decision to retire in 2013, and said: "It is with an immense amount of pride that I am announcing my intention to retire.

“I have been very fortunate in that my career has taken me on a journey I could only have dreamed of.”

Michael had 89 caps for his country and in that time he was placed as sixth on the all-time top scorers' list, after scoring 40 international goals.

Despite retiring from the sport, Michael has continued to work as a pundit during football coverage.

He's also entered the world of advertising and in one playful ad he pretended to fly a helicopter over Dubai.

The family home is a nod to the wealth the Owen family have.

The family have a spacious living room which features sleek laminate flooring and large brown leather sofas, as well as light brown wall panels and a series of huge windows.

Further along is the family's huge kitchen, which has a similar colour scheme to the lounge. The space has wooden cupboards and white and black tiles, along with sleek marble work surfaces and a silver fridge.

A marble island sits in the middle of the room, with three grey dining chairs lined up at one end and a bouquet of white flowers in the centre.

The Owens' family mansion even features an indoor swimming pool along with a hot tub, and the family have access to their own private home gym.
