PLT fan buys Molly-Mae Hague dress but ends up ‘looking like Aladdin character’

Shopping online has undoubtedly made getting your favorite clothes easier than ever before – but it does come with one risk.

You never get the chance to try the outfits on which means they can often look nothing like what you’re expecting.

And that’s exactly what happened to one PrettyLittleThing (PLT) customer, whose hilarious fail was shared to TikTok.

The clip, posted by user @Timotheapagenash, begins by showing what the sparkly pink outfit should look on a model.

It comes from PLT’s most recent collaboration with Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague and costs £24.

But the video then cuts to show what it looked like in reality on one customer – and it’s fair to say it’s unrecognisable.

While the material and color look similar, the fit is completely off.

Instead of the dress ending halfway up the woman’s thighs, as was shown in the image, it reaches her knees.

The clip has been seen more than 22,000 times since being posted with the caption: “Molly-Mae Hague what is this please?”

“Omg that is a completely different thing,” one wrote.

Another commented: “It’s giving Aladdin’s auntie vibes.”

Someone else suggested she even looked like the Genie from the hit Disney film.

But others thought the outfit still looked good. “The top looks good though with jeans,” one said.

And another fan agreed, adding: “It’ll look better when you’re done up, outfits always do.”

It comes after another PLT customer was left mortified when a tiny orange onesie she bought left her looking like a film villain.

Libby Whitsey, from Leicester, told Daily Star: “When trying it on, I just couldn’t help but laugh at myself, because it looked so funny," she told the site.

“But to my surprise it did stretch a lot and I managed to fit in it fine! My first reaction was how it looked exactly like Vector from Despicable Me.

“Right after posting the first video, I received hundreds of comments being compared to Vector – I even received a comment from the verified Minions TikTok account saying it's 'an excellent purchase’.”
