It's no secret that the Queen enjoys the finer things in life, from speciality teas to the most luxurious homes.
While Her Majesty, 96, has each of her meals specially prepared by professional chefs and served at specific times, her early morning snack is one which we all enjoy, and a lot less lavish.
She famously has a very sweet tooth and is known to particularly love chocolate, having previously been described as a 'chocaholic'.
The Queen's pre-breakfast snack is therefore one that satisfies her sweet cravings, and there's no doubt that her grandchildren, most notably Prince William, would definitely approve of her choice.

The first thing the 96 year old tucks into in the morning is a few biscuits, which she enjoys with her first cup of tea of the day.
It's not just any biscuit however as she has a specific favourite, according to former royal chef Darren McGrady. He previously revealed: "When I was there… Chocolate Bath Olivers.”
Chocolate Olivers, created by Huntley & Palmer, are made with rich, dark chocolate and are perfect for any chocolate-lover, such as the Queen.
"She is absolutely a chocoholic. Anything we put on the menu that had chocolate on, she would choose, especially chocolate perfection pie," he added.
The Queen pairs her biscuits with a cup of Earl Grey with no sugar, and the occasional drop of milk.
Later on, around the time of Afternoon Tea, she will then enjoy a second cup of Earl Grey while she samples a selection of delicious cakes, such as ginger cake and jam pennies.
Chocolate biscuit cake is also usually on offer, which is a firm favourite of the Queen's grandson, Prince William.
The 39 year old even had the sweet treat as his second wedding cake at his 2011 nuptials to the Duchess of Cambridge.
Speaking about the unique request, chocolatier Barry Colenso previously said: “Although the McVitie's Cake Company and I developed it into a wedding cake, we stuck closely to the guidelines issued from Buckingham Palace to make sure it was just right. It was rich, indulgent and creamy with a really snappy texture which came from the Rich Tea biscuits.”
According to MyLondon, he also added: “The Tiffin cake itself was pretty straightforward as the recipe was issued from the Palace, but the extras and decorations were a different story. The McVities' team and I worked 24/7 for 29 straight days to make sure we made something spectacular, and that met Prince William and Kate's brief.”
Prince William is known to share his grandmother's love of chocolate, and Kate, 40, previously opened up about her husband's sweet tooth during a video call with schoolchildren a few years ago.
The mum-of-three revealed that William couldn't stop eating their supply of Easter chocolate, and jokingly teased him as they spoke to the children.
As the pair wished everyone well, William reassured the youngsters: "There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here, don't worry!"
Kate then quickly added: "You keep eating it!"
