Shoppers go mad for six foot £15 swimming pool from Home Bargains

Britons across the country have been sweltering in the June heatwave, but savvy shoppers have found affordable ways to cool off.

Those in the know have rushed to Home Bargains, which recently had a skincare product go viral as well, to secure a six foot long back garden pool, that retails for just £15.

On their website, they say that the inflatable pool takes “less than 10 minutes to set up” and that its’ made from “durable material which ensures high resistance to sun, abrasions and chemicals.”

They assure shoppers that it’s good fun for the whole family and if six foot isn’t big enough for your brood, they also offer an eight foot and a 10 foot option.

On a popular online group, one poster highlighted the find as she snapped a picture of it in action in her garden.

Fellow money savers rushed to thank her for the tip, and some admitted that they had nipped out to grab one as well.

“I bought this last week, my kids love it,” one commenter wrote, while another added: “definitely going to get it, there’s surely more good weather to come.”

Although temperatures have temporarily cooled after some mid-June heat, it looks like that by early July parts of the UK will be basking in 30 degree plus weather.

Despite widespread enthusiasm for the pool, there were others who were less impressed with the buy.

“Problem is if you don’t have a completely flat surface they don’t end up looking like the picture! Have just chucked one out,” one user wrote under the post.

Sharing her own photo, another user got candid about how long it was taking her to fill her Home Bargains, which is known for its' deals, pool.

“Well I can’t wait till mine looks like this! I’ve been filling this for five hours,” she wrote underneath a picture of her half-filled pool.

It seems to be a common problem as other people rushed to like and agree with her comment, and one woman confessed: “I got the ten foot one and it took eight hours to fill… worth it though! It’s ace and so happy, it’s the best thing I’ve bought in ages, we had to get a filter for it though and chlorine tablets to keep it clean.”
