Online retailer Fashion Nova has been mocked for selling a very revealing playsuit featuring cut-outs on the bust that ‘look like slices of cheese.’
Taking to Instagram, the California-based brand shared two photographs of a model wearing the Dark Fantasy Jumpsuit, which retails at $34.99 (£26).
The controversial long-sleeved garment is only available in black and comes in a stretchy material which boasts back keyhole with button closure and mesh detail – but it seems not everyone is a fan.
‘Who would wear this?’ wrote one, while a second made a reference to the film Mean Girls and commented: ‘I saw Regina George cutting triangles in her chest so I cut triangles in my chest.’

The garment not only has cut-out details on the chest, but also has sheer mesh panels on the arms and legs.
But while nobody wants to be walking around looking like a clone of another, it seems this garment is a little too different even for the most eccentric – with many seeming confused by the concept.
‘Am I the only one that doesn’t get it?’ wrote one, to which a second bluntly responded: ‘Nope.’
A third baffled by the item of clothing wrote: ‘What the…?’

Elsewhere, a fifth was left so amused they sarcastically penned: ‘Thanks, for making my day.’
However, it wasn’t all doom and gloom for the brand, with the post garnering over 9,215 likes – and some having positive words to say about the piece.
‘Wow I love this,’ enthused one, followed by a love heart emoji, while a second penned: ‘Very nice.’
In 2019, the controversial clothing label was slammed for a barely-there crop top.
It promoted its Party Starter Cropped Tank on Instagram with the caption reading: ‘Head-turning is what we’re here for.’
Yet while heads certainly turned for the $22 (£18) top, it wasn’t all positive as many customers blasted the brand’s lace-up crop top for leaving very little to the imagination.
