Another joked: ‘At that price, I’m glad I’m single.’

A third said: ‘£185, no wine. Hat’s off, if there’s mugs that’ll buy it then you deserve it.’

In 2021 the canapes were Whipped Tunworth Cheese Gougères and Dorset Lobster and Avocado Tartelette, plus English Mustard & Cider Glazed Pork Belly, Black Pudding and Crackling.

The starters were exactly the same and the beef wellington was also served last year, but there was also Truffled Creedy Carver Chicken to chose from.

The pudding was also very similar last year – a sticky toffee pudding.

One upset woman said: ‘Really disappointed Tom. Why no new menu. This was awesome last year, we would have brought it again if the menu was different.’

Another echoed this and said: ‘Looks very similar to last year’s.’

One person asked: ‘Gluten free option?’

Another said: ‘Please do a veggie option one day.’

One quipped: ‘Do you do a box for 1?’

One added: ‘Wow Tom. That looks incredible. Just need to find a man to share it with.’

Tom – who has appeared on MasterChef and Saturday Kitchen – was accused of cashing in on the Covid-19 pandemic last February with restaurants shut.

Last September he branded critics ‘pea-brained’ in a latest steak row with customers.

Kerridge has a £12.50 cooking charge for customers’ meat at his The Butchers Tap and Grill gastropub.

He was also slammed for charging £87 for sirloin steak with vegetables – like a side of cabbage – costing £7.50 extra at his The Hand and Flowers boozer.

In December, her was ridiculed for selling a tiny Christmas turkey which he claims can feed eight people.

The free-range Copas turkey breast roast will set customers back a whopping £140, or £17.50 a head.

But there only seems to be 12 slices up for grabs on the piece of meat, making for just one-and-a-half slices for each dinner guest.

Fans joked that it would only go around that number of guests if they were vegan or miniature people from The Borrowers.
