Woman defies trolls who call her ‘obese and lazy’ by flaunting body in sexy pics

A body positivity influencer is on a journey to unlearn the hatred she has towards her body despite trolls calling her obese.

The Australian influencer says she used to be ashamed of how she looked so would try and hide her body.

Over the years she’s learnt it’s better to love herself no matter what she looks like and she’s encouraging others to do the same.

Elloise has said one of her main goals is to teach people to love the skin they’re in.

“This is your gentle reminder that you deserve to wear whatever you wish, no matter your shape or size,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.

“Take it from me — hiding your body because you’re ashamed adds no value to your life. It makes me so sad to reflect on how I used to feel about my body, rather than celebrating all that it can do.

“This is your sign to wear whatever you want, whenever you want!! Wear that crop to the gym!!! Wear the bright colours!! We’ve got this besties.”

Elloise is working hard to treat her body with love and respect, which she regularly reminds her followers to do too.

“I gave up calorie counting a long time ago and it’s honestly so freeing to not be obsessing over food 24/7,” she said.

“I used to spend my life checking the back of packets and saying no to the food that I enjoyed, as I constantly had to be in a deficit.

“I’m so glad that I can finally enjoy the meals that I want to without feeling guilty.”

While Elloise’s attitude to life is celebrated by her followers, she also experiences hateful comments from trolls.

One person told her she was just teaching people “how to be f***ing lazy” and others have told her to get a tummy tuck.

Another troll even went as far as to call her obese.

Elloise doesn’t shy away from the hateful comments she receives and instead uses them as a way to start important discussions.

“Why are we so obsessed with changing women’s bodies? It seems that so many people think that they have the right to impose their own insecurities onto other women,” she said.

“Yeah, I’ve got it all – stretch marks, overhanging skin, cellulite… the list goes on. But you know what? That’s what makes me, me. It’s not up to anyone else to decide how we present & live ourselves— that’s our own business only.

“Amongst all the negativity, it’s overwhelming to see the amount of you that have been through a similar experience.

“I have received hundreds of messages over the past few days from people who have started their own journey to self-love because they’re finally seeing their own bodies represented on social media.”

Elloise went on to say that everyone deserves to love their bodies, no matter their size, shape or appearance.

She added: “Our bodies are there to give us life — how lucky are we to wake up every day and experience it?!

“This is why I do what I do — I want to encourage each and every one of you to have a positive relationship with your body!”
