Betfair Spokesperson, Sam Rosbottom said: "In the past 24 hours we have seen a flurry of bets on Eddie Howe to become the next Celtic manager and have slashed his odds to 4/9.

"Following today's draw, the pressure is on Neil Lennon and there is a big list of managers who could potentially take over.

"Aside from Howe, Martin O'Neil has also seen support from punters and he is currently the second favourite to take over at 7/2."

Today's stalemate follows the 1-1 draw with Hibs on Monday after they got back from Dubai with 13 players, including Lennon, having to isolate after Christopher Jullien tested positive for coronavirus.

And Howe tops Betfair's list of potential replacements with Martin O'Neil and Jack Ross second and third.

Slaven Bilic and Roy Keane come next with previous favourite Gordon Strachan now down at 20/1.

Saturday's draw means Rangers will be 23 points clear at the top of the league if they beat Motherwell on Sunday.

Celtic have now won just seven of their last 21 games in all competitions and are now all but out of hope of securing a 10th title in a row.
