COMMENTATOR Jim Beglin was forced to apologise after calling the Manchester City stadium the 'Emptyhad' in an on-air blunder.
The former Republic of Ireland international, 58, was calling Saturday's game against Chelsea for Premier League Productions.
And with 38 minutes on the clock, a slip of the tongue saw him make his error.
Beglin said: "You can hear the annoyance around the Emptyhad because… the Etihad."
It was clearly an accidental mistake from the former Liverpool and Leeds left-back, who also does work with BT Sport.
He took to Twitter afterwards to apologise to the club and their supporters.
Beglin wrote: "I have the greatest respect for Manchester City Football Club.
"In no way was my verbal error today intended to cause City fans any offence."

The 'Emptyhad' moniker has often been used by rival fans to hit out at the club's lack of support and atmosphere at their 54,000-seater Etihad home.
In September, Pep Guardiola even pleaded for more fans to come to matches after there were 16,000 empty seats for a Champions League win.
And searching 'empty seats' into Google Maps still redirects to the stadium.
City feel they get an unfair rap because of a lack of former players in the media.
And according to the Daily Mail, Beglin's gaffe did not go down well with City chiefs who complained to the broadcasters Premier League Productions during the match.
But they were a lot happier come full-time after Kevin De Bruyne's strike secured a 1-0 win against the Champions League holders.
The victory – a 12th in a row for Guardiola's side – means the reigning English champions are 11 points clear at the top of the table with 16 games left.
