Pep Guardiola's side, who beat Watford 6-0 in the 2018-19 final, have been installed as 3/1 favourites.

The Citizens start their campaign with a home fixture against Championship Birmingham on Sunday and are fully expected to ease through to the fourth-round draw.

Eight-time winners Chelsea are second in the betting market at 13/2 with Liverpool, who haven't won the FA Cup since 2006, a fraction behind at 7/1.

Jurgen Klopp was once accused of 'killing the FA Cup' when choosing to field youngsters during a replay with Shrewsbury.

The German decided to skip the match altogether because it fell during the Premier League's winter break.
