'He has to work hard' Arsene Wenger insists Jack Wilshere will stay at Arsenal next season

ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that England midfielder Jack Wilshere will most likely remain at Arsenal next season despite interest from a number of clubs.

After a successful spell with Bournemouth last season, that was cut short by a collision with Harry Kane, many believed his time at the Gunners was over but Wenger has cleared the air on any transfer rumours.

Despite the injury the 25-year-old having stayed fit for the majority of the campaign, racking up 29 Premier League appearances with the Cherries.

There has been a number of clubs express their interest in the midfielder in both England and elsewhere.

Serie A's Sampdoria have made a bid for Wilshere but Wenger is demanding £9million for the talented youngster.

The Arsenal boss however seems to be sure of the Englishman's future despite of the transfer buzz around the player

When questioned on the subject Wenger cleared the air on any speculation.

He said "I think Jack will be with Arsenal next season, yes."
