'My home' – Watch Man Utd icon Patrice Evra EAT the Old Trafford grass to leave Amazon co-host Thierry Henry in stitches | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED legend Patrice Evra ATE grass on his return to Old Trafford – leaving his Amazon co-hosts in stitches.

The former left-back is providing punditry alongside Arsenal icon Thierry Henry and manager Roberto Martinez.

And before United host Tottenham, Evra took a chuck of grass out of the pitch and proceeded to taste it.

He said: "This is home, I call it home. It's a little bit windy but don't worry guys I've asked someone to turn off the AC.

"And yeah of course, whenever I come here I always do that. Do you know Gabby, I always taste the grass.

"And yes, it's a little bit garlicy but it tastes the same. But yeah, this is my home and bon appetit."

Evra, who signed for United in 2006, won five Premier League titles in Manchester and one Champions League trophy.

But he ended his eight-year affair with the club in 2014, singing for Juventus in Italy.

Evra, now 41, had stints with Marseille and West Ham before announcing his retirement in 2019.

The defender has since returned to United as a trainee coach at the club's academy.
