Watch Anderson Silva make his son TAP OUT numerous times in brutal submissions as UFC icon gives jiu-jitsu masterclass | The Sun

ANDERSON SILVA made his son TAP OUT with a brutal submission as he gave his boy a jiu-jitsu masterclass.

The UFC legend is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and takes no prisoners on the mat, including with his eldest son Kalyl.

Silva was captured forcing Kalyl to tap on numerous occasions as he locked in leg and arm bars.

Hilariously, at one point Kalyl – speaking in Brazilian translated to English – tells his dad: "A tap only ends the round."

That is a nod to Silva's great rival-turned friend Chael Sonnen.

Sonnen in 2010 was just minutes away from dethroning Silva of the UFC middleweight title in what would have been a shock upset.

MMA fans convinced fighter’s ‘testicles had EXPLODED’ after brutal kick

The American had won all four rounds previously until he was locked in a triangle armbar and forced to tap.

It sealed a stunning come-from-behind victory for Silva, who also won the rematch by knockout two years later.

But Sonnen – considered to be the greatest trash-talker in UFC history – famously said: “Well, I gotta plead ignorance on that first fight.

"And you’re right – I thought if you tapped, it ended the round, I did not know that the contest as a whole would come to a conclusion.
