Adele Throws Shade at ‘The Real Housewives’: ‘It Was Too Much’

When making an appearance on NikkieTutorials’ YouTube channel, the ‘Easy On Me’ hitmaker reveals that she cannot watch the Bravo reality show as it’s ‘too much’ to see the stars ‘literally killing each other.’

AceShowbizAdele has unveiled that she is not a fan of “The Real Housewives”. The “Easy On Me” hitmaker revealed that she prefers watching wildlife programs than the reality show as it will leave her brain dead.

When making an appearance on NikkieTutorials‘ YouTube channel on Tuesday, December 2, the 33-year-old chart-topper said that she cannot watch the Bravo series. “I know a lot of people love it, but I can’t,” she confessed. She elaborated, “My brain will die, I can’t…I don’t know who any of them are, so I don’t feel like I can start from the beginning when it’s been on for so long.”

“I’m not going to lie, it doesn’t work for me,” Adele stressed further. However, she admitted that she tried watching one of the series, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey“. “One time I did watch one episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ when they were all like literally killing each other, but it was too much, I was like I can’t, I can’t watch,” she noted, adding that she would “rather watch a wildlife program.”

Adele explained further that she’s not interested in watching reality TV in general. The Grammy-winning artist stressed that she watches more “educational” programs. When Nikkie asked about the British reality dating show “Love Island“, the “Someone Like You” singer quipped, “I can’t bear that show.”

Adele further spilled that her ex-husband and son’s dad, Simon Konecki, is a fan of the dating series. The “Rolling in the Deep” songstress shared that she tried watching it one summer, but she “couldn’t believe it.”

Elsewhere during the clip, Adele discussed her drinking habits as she underwent a makeup transformation with Nikkie de Jager. “I would normally drink to make other people interesting, rather than to spice myself up,” the singer said while going through the transformation.

After Adele and Nikkie poured a glass and said “cheers” to Adele’s album “30”, Adele said she accomplished it with Chris Stapleton in the album’s deluxe-edition duet of “Easy on Me”. She shared, “There’s an element of country in the way I write…the in-depth storytelling of country, I’ve been obsessed with since I was 20. That attention to detail, I think is just magnificent.”

Stapleton wasn’t the only one who received a shout-out. Adele said that she would get starstruck over Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. She told the makeup artist, “Someone I’ve never met, that I think I would actually cry, is The Rock. I was the biggest wrestling fan when I was younger! He sent me flowers because he and his wife couldn’t make it to my show and literally I nearly fell off me chair.”
