AMY Duggar appears to have hinted at cousin Josh Duggar's pornography arrest as she spoke out about "toxic family."
The Duggar family rebel – who often defies the strict rules set by uncle Jim Bob Duggar – took to her Instagram page to share a quote in neon pink balloons.
'AMEN AND AMEN'
Spelled out against a blue brick backdrop, it read: "It's OK to cut off toxic family for your own wellbeing."
Showing her clear agreement, Amy, 34, added the caption: "Amen & Amen."
Others were quick to agree, with one writing: "Family over everything” doesn't apply to every family. Some of us are here to break generational curses, set boundaries, and stand up and do what's right for our own sanity, our children, and future generation."
Another posted: "Deffffffs some of your fam. I know that’s right girl!!!"
One then surmised: "It's not only okay, it's NECESSARY for your physical and emotional well being."
DUGGAR STRUGGLES
19 Kids and Counting star Amy hasn't been shy in addressing Josh's legal issues on her page.
She posted a telling comment about "trust" shortly after her relative's arrest, which told how "even salt can look like sugar."
Josh, 33, – who is also Jill's brother and Amy's cousin – was arrested on possession of child pornography back in April, which also led to TLC canceling Counting On after about 11 seasons.
Josh and Anna share six children: Mackynzie, 11, Michael, nine, Maryella, one, Mason, three, Meredith, five, and Marcus, seven.
According to the indictment, Josh “knowingly received child pornography” between or about May 14, 2019, and on or about May 16, 2019.
For the second count, Josh “knowingly possessed material that contained images of child pornography,” including “images of minors under the age of 12.”
If convicted, he could receive 20 years in prison with fines up to $250,000 for each count.
Josh pleaded not guilty to the charges at his arraignment and was released a week after the arrest.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Amy admitted she was “not surprised” with the network’s decision to cancel the long-running reality show.
The TLC star said: “There’s nothing I can say about Counting On being canceled except ‘thanks for the memories.’ Lots of memories.”
DISCLOSURE BAN
Amy, who shares son Daxon with husband Dillon King, has been open about her non-disclosure agreement refraining her from talking about her famous family.
Amy previously told The Sun she was “devastated” by Josh's arrest.
She said: “At the moment I have no comment to make. I’m kind of speechless, we just hope it’s not true.
“I spoke with several of my cousins after we heard about the arrest. We’re in shock, but we don’t want to think the worst of someone, you want to think the best.
“If it is true it would absolutely devastate a lot of people.”
DUGGAR REBEL
Recently, the reality star took to her Instagram Stories to kickstart her new series dubbed "Real Talk with Amy."
While wearing a blue patterned dress, Amy said: "I'm going to tell y'all something that will hopefully help you.
"So here's the first one, cause I'm feeling a little salty today – you can have a glass of wine, a glass of whiskey, some Bourbon, a shot, a cocktail, and still be a good person.
"Just because you have a drink does not mean you're going to become an alcoholic.
"It doesn't mean you're going to burn your family and you're going to make terrible, bad decisions OK?"
Drinking is against her family's strict rules, as is wearing revealing clothing.
