Big Brother fans left distracted as crowd chants for Kerry to be evicted

Zak becomes the second housemate evicted from Big Brother

Big Brother fans were left distracted on Friday night as hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best spoke to the housemates about who was being evicted.

Voters had to choose to evict Henry or Zak from the ITV series, but viewers were left staggered as they listened to the live crowd begging for Kerry to be kicked out of the house.

Taking to Twitter, Livy shared: “I loved that but I wish they showed us Kerry’s reaction to the audience chanting ‘Get Kerry Out’”.

Meanwhile, a fan called Tye said: “Get Kerry out was louder than I expected #BBUK.”

A shocked Megs added: “There’s no way they’ve just let them all hear that.”

Another fan said: “I can’t wait to see Kerry’s reaction to “Get Kerry out” so much, she will be FUMING #BBUK.”

James penned: “Can’t wait for Sunday’s episode when we see the fallout of Zak’s eviction and the crowd shouting ‘Get Kerry Out’ and ‘Love Yinrun.'”

Chantelle theorised: “Hallie won’t be around Kerry much now… She will only want to be around the “popular” ones. Zak is only out because of the way Hallie s**t stirred. #bbuk.”

Earlier this week, Kerry was reprimanded over her choice of language after using the word “gay” in a derogatory context.

Her remark was broadcast on the programme’s live feed on Sunday but it was not included in the main show.

A Big Brother spokesperson said: “Kerry was brought to the diary room to discuss her inappropriate use of language.

“Big Brother reminded Kerry of her respect and inclusion training prior to entering the house and the consequences of any further use of offensive language. Kerry understood and apologised for any offence caused.”

Since making the comment, many Big Brother viewers have called for her removal while others have suggested she should be educated.

Big Brother airs nightly (except Saturdays) on ITV2 and ITVX.
