Coronation Street fans are terrified for Sarah and Carla as Stephen Reid sets his sights on Underworld | The Sun

CORONATION Street fans are fearing for Carla Connor and Sarah Platt – after Stephen Reid set his sights on Underworld.

The businessman – who is played by actor Todd Boyce in the ITV soap – has been struggling for money since returning to Weatherfield.

In tonight’s episode he helped Sarah in assisting Carla in getting an urgent silk order

“To the dream team back together,” said Stephen toasting his niece.

“So good to be back working together again.”

Sarah replied: “I much prefer you to my current boss. You’re right you know, Carla’s losing her touch.

“I have so many ideas, none of which Carla will listen to. We need to expand the range and move away from the run of the mill stuff that the machinists can churn out in their sleep.

“We need more interesting patterns – straight off the catwalk. And it can be financially viable, I know it can.”

Stephen heaped praise on Sarah, before hinting at his own dark plan for her.

She asked him to help prove her ideas to Carla, and he replied: “Sure anything you want – and if she doesn’t go for it, we’ll just stage a hostile takeover.”
