TWO of the Coronation Street cast have been reunited as Kate McGlynn and newly engaged Alexandra Mardell met for drinks.
Katie, 28, who played Sinead Tinker in the ITV soap, and Emma Brooker actress Alexandra, 28, visited a restaurant for an "overdue catch up".
The pals – who previously worked together on the Cobbles – looked to be enjoying a beer as they caught each other up on their lives.
Katie, who waved goodbye to the iconic soap in 2019 after her character died of cervical cancer, shared snaps of the friends to social media.
Posing on Instagram, the two women cosied up to each other from across the table as they smiled from ear to ear.
Sipping on drinks, Katie opted for a casual pink top while her actress pal wore a white top with a large blue bow on the front.
Both the women looked glamorous with natural palettes of make-up, wearing their hair down and accessorising with minimal jewellery.
The former Corrie star joked to her followers: "I mean we didn’t have MUCH to catch up on. Oh I have missed you my gal."
Fans were delighted to see the pair re-united, taking to the comments to gush over them both as "beautiful".
"The both of you are beautiful," one wrote, as another agreed: "Beautiful ladies and friends reunited."
Fellow Corrie actress Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin in the soap, also commented on the snap – writing alongside heart emojis: "Beauts!"
It comes shortly after Alexandra revealed she is engaged to boyfriend Joe Parker, showing off her diamond ring.
Alongside a series of pictures of her beaming with joy, she wrote: “Love locked down!! 1000000 times yes! You make me so happy, my face hurts!"
She told her husband-to-be that she "loved him ridiculously" as she mused over being the "future Mrs Parker".
Joe also shared a series of snaps, telling his followers: “Went in to lockdown with a girlfriend, came out with a fiancée. What a lucky man I am."
Alexandra and Joe met while they were students but only became a couple two years after they graduated.
They moved in together in January 2020 and have kept each other entertained throughout the various lockdowns.
The actress previously gushed about her partner when they moved in together: "GSA Grad Ball 2015 – we were just friends, two years later we were a couple, now two years together, he’s moving in!"
Alexandra first appeared in Corrie in April 2018, with it recently being revealed that her character is Steve McDonald's child.
