CORONATION Street’s Amy Barlow will go on a secret date with drug dealer Jacob – even after he's accused of spiking her with drugs.
The teenager – who is played by actress Elle Mulvaney in the ITV soap – has been pictured enjoying a romantic date with the bad boy.
Pictures show them spending the day together on a boat away from the prying eyes of her worried family.
The Sun revealed earlier this week how Amy will end up in hospital with her parents Steve and Tracy convinced she has suffered a drugs overdose.
It will kick off a major new storyline as Amy falls for drug dealer Jacob.
A source said: “Amy ends up in a bad way in hospital and Steve and Tracy fear the worst.
“They’re convinced she is on drugs – but she is adamant she didn’t take them knowingly.
“It soon becomes clear that she’s been the victim of spiking but Steve and Tracy don’t accept it.
“They are convinced Jacob is leading their daughter astray, and soon the police are investigating.”
Corrie boss Iain Macleod recently told The Sun about Amy’s new relationship with drug dealer Jacob.
“She is quite sensible given her family dynamic and that’s Amy,” he said.
“How will Tracy and Steve react to the worst possible boyfriend – they try with failure to strategise this, cut her off financially, reverse psychology.
"All of these things just make things worse and worse, to comedy effects.

“In the end, they have to bite the bullet and try to get along with this lad."
Iain added: “Meanwhile Jacob is redeeming himself – we discover about how he arrived in the drug gang and it will reframe views of him.
