Corrie fans ‘work out’ Toyah twist after spotting new car crash suspect on ITV soap

Coronation Street fans think they have figured out a new twist for Toyah Battersby after "working out" Imran Habeeb's real killer on the ITV soap.

Only recently, Imran tragically died from his injuries sustained from the car crash after first rescuing Toyah from the wreckage and getting her to safety in an ambulance.

Since the devastating crash, Toyah has been accused of Imran's murder as the police have a slew of evidence such as Imran's voicemail, revealing he had set up Abi Franklin, the fact that she didn't brake the car and statements from residents on the cobbles.

On Wednesday's instalment, Toyah's solicitor pointed out how serious things are, explaining that she could either face prison time for murder or careless driving.

However, soap watchers have pointed out another suspect on the ITV soap after remembering a vital scene from the car crash in question.

Viewers will recall that after the car crash, where Imran pulled Toyah out of the vehicle, a mysterious black car pulled over to look and drove off without helping.

Soap fans think that Ben, who Imran paid to spy on Abi and pretend he saw her exchange drugs to win custody of baby Alfie, could be in the car and responsible for the crash.

Taking to social media, one eagle-eyed person said: "Still think the black car that stopped and went without helping is the plot twist xx."

To which a different account put: "I think that black car belonged to Ben the guy who Imran hired to get proof of her buying drugs."

Another soap watcher wrote: "I'm convinced it's something to do with the driver of the black car that stopped and then drove off. And I think it was Ben x."

While a different viewer added: "If there's CCTV of the car crash in #Corrie – surely the dodgy looking black car that stopped, looked and then drove off must've been in it as well. I reckon it was Ben driving it."
