Coronation Street fans have been gripped for months, desperate to find out who Stephen Reid’s next victim will be on the cobbles.
Since he returned to the ITV soap last year, the vile businessman (played by Todd Boyce) has taken the lives of three people in order to complete his sinister scheme.
In order to keep his plan under wraps, the Canadian killer has murdered Leo Thompkins and his father Teddy Thompkins as well as his former business client Rufus Donahue.

Most recently, Stephen has attempted to kill his boss and Underworld manager Carla Connor as well as his fiancée Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox).
And it appears as though the swindler may be ready to kill again as suspicions continue to grow surrounding his shady deals on the street.
Now, Daily Star has put one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI through its paces to see which characters are at the top of the cold killer’s hit list.
When asked who will die at Stephen’s hands next on the longest-running soap, the programme speculated: “It is unknown who Stephen will kill next in Coronation Street. However, there are a few characters who could be potential victims.”
At the top of the list is his bride-to-be Elaine Jones who has continued to fall for his lies throughout their whirlwind relationship.
The system pointed out: “Stephen has already tried to kill Elaine once, and he may not give up until she is dead. Elaine is also a wealthy woman, and Stephen is motivated by her money.”
Loyal fans of the soap will remember the businessman took out a staggeringly high life insurance claim on the doting mum months ago which will make him entitled to all her assets should she die unexpectedly.
Following closely behind his betrothed is her son Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) who has been unsure of their relationship from the very beginning.
The AI program explained: “Tim has been suspicious of Stephen for some time, and he has even confronted him about his past crimes.
“Stephen could kill Tim to silence him and prevent him from exposing him as a killer,” it added.
Next up to the chopping block is business owner Carla Connor (Alison King) who Stephen attempted to kill earlier this year after he spiked her drinks with LSD when she demoted him to office manager.
However, the effects of the drug had the opposite effects on the brunette beauty which sent her into a psychotic break rather than killing her.
The artificial intelligence added: “Carla is the owner of Underworld, which Stephen wants to take over. If he can't buy her shares, he may resort to killing her.”
The final character who is at risk of losing their life on the ITV soap is detective inspector Alison Bailey.
It pointed out: “Alison is a police officer who is investigating Stephen's crimes. If she gets too close to the truth, Stephen could kill her to protect himself.”
Surprisingly enough, one character who appears to be in the clear of Stephen’s murderous affairs is blonde beauty Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews).

The pair have been growing close in recent weeks, with the Canadian quickly becoming obsessed with her ever since he took the life of her fiancée Leo Thompkins in September last year.
But the system was quick to warn other residents to steer clear of the deranged killer, adding: “Stephen is a dangerous man who is willing to kill to get what he wants.
“If anyone stands in his way, they could be in danger.”
