Victoria Ekanoye revealed how Corrie is topping other soaps as she spoke about her time as Angie Appleton on the iconic ITV soap.
The actress used to play Angie Appleton on Coronation Street – the daughter-in-law of Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) and estranged wife of Jude (Paddy Wallace).
Although the soap star left Corrie in 2019 – she's still got tons of fond memories of her life living on the famous TV Cobbles.
Speaking to Daily Star at Mirror's People's Pet Awards, Victoria opened up about her action-packed Corrie stint – and she managed to slip in a cheeky brag about why Corrie is better than other soaps.
She started off by saying that it's so nice to be a part of a "massive institution for the country" like Corrie.
Ekanoye then explained that Corrie is currently holding the "title" for the longest-running soap on television – beating the likes of EastEnders, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale – and that she hopes they'll hold onto that record.
Victoria said: "It's so nice to be a part of such a massive institution for the country, and now it's the longest running… we're holding the title… long may we reign!"
The new mum revealed that she's currently part of a Whatsapp group chat with her on-screen relatives Patti and Paddy – who play Mary and Jude – and that they act like a real family.

When asked if she still keeps in touch with her former co-stars, Victoria replied: "Oh god yeah, they're legends. Especially my family on the show – Patty and Paddy – who play Mary and Jude.
"They're like my little family. We've got our little family Whatsapp group. They're amazing. I love them."
Ekanoye also dished on how surreal it is to star on a soap that you used to watch when you were younger.
The X Factor singer said: "It's funny cos you grow up watching the show and all of a sudden you're in it and your mum's watching you.

"She had our favourite before I got in it, and I was like 'are they still your favourites?!"
The actress said that she's been able to catch up with Nicola Thorp and Faye Brookes recently – the latter of which competed on this year's Dancing on Ice.
She added: "We're all in different places but when we are in the same place we try and catch up then and I met up with Nicola and she's amazing, and Faye.
"She's on tour at the moment and she's amazing. We catch up whenever we can."
