EastEnders: Reiss Colwell reads sympathy cards at Dot’s wake
EastEnders’ Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) is set to become concerned ahead of her IVF appointment in upcoming episodes.
Fans know that Reiss Clowell (Jonny Freeman) took the money for the IVF from his wife, Debbie Colwell (Jenny Meier), who is unconscious in hospital and requires round-the-clock care following a stroke.
Reiss pretended the money was his but he took it without his wife’s consent or knowledge.
Official spoilers from the BBC soap reveal Sonia becomes snappy and worried ahead of her appointment, and Martin Fowler (James Bye) gets caught in the crossfire.
She and Reiss get the information on their chances of IVF success and a breakdown of costs.

Later, at the hospital, Reiss tells Debbie that he plans to spend her money on having IVF treatment with Sonia.
Will Sonia soon find out the truth?
The couple enjoyed a moving moment when they both confessed they’d love to be parents together, and Sonia assumed she knew everything about her partner.
While he initially hid his wife from her, once Sonia realised the extent of what had happened, she slowly forgave Reiss for his deception.

However, she’s bound to be horrified if she learns Reiss has once again lied to her.
The money being Debbie’s rather than Reiss’ will certainly change things, but will the couple have already begun the IVF by the time she finds out?
Perhaps Sonia will end up catching Reiss out in his lie and confront him.
It could be that Debbie’s family also has access to her finances and notice the money is missing.
Will Sonia decide to end things with Reiss for good once she makes the discovery?
She almost broke things off permanently when she first found out about Debbie, so it’s likely she won’t take this news well.
EastEnders continues on Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
